She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, nurse, and friend whose home was always filled with laughter, celebrations, and togetherness. Whether hosting holidays, birthdays, family gatherings, board games, dancing in the kitchen, or cheering on her children and grandchildren at their activities, Kathy had a gift for making every occasion feel special.Becoming a mother at a young age, Kathy embraced the role with unwavering dedication and spent her life putting her children first. She gave her love to patients at Northwest Community, Good Shepard, and Alexian Brothers hospitals as well as caring for children with extensive needs through home health care.Kathy was also blessed with deep love and companionship through her longtime partner, Butch Yagac. For nearly 18 years, Butch shared his life with Kathy and remained faithfully by her side through her health challenges in recent years. His devotion, patience, and loving care brought Kathy comfort, dignity, peace, and happiness. Those who knew Kathy will remember her beautiful smile, her generous heart, her love of dancing and celebrating, and the way she brought people together.
