Keith Brett

October 22, 1962 — September 19, 2021

Keith Brett passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 19, 2021 during a trip to Chicago, the city he loved. Thankfully, before his passing, he was able to visit friends he had not seen in awhile. Keith is survived by his two children, daughter Bailey and son Connor, his wife Katy, his brother Kit, and his sister-in-law Julie. Keith will be forever remembered for the love and pride he had for his children, the kindness and generosity he shared with everyone, and for the endless joy and laughter he brought to all he met and loved.

Keith was known for his wisdom, giving great advice to his family and friends and especially teaching his children to always stand up for themselves. He was an amazing man and he had the ability to make friends anywhere he went. He was absolutely hilarious and could make an entire room laugh. Keith found so much joy in traveling to new places and he loved spending time in nature, camping and fishing. He had a passion for cooking and eating amazing food, a skill he taught to his kids. He loved listening to great music, especially the blues and The Rolling Stones, while playing pool or shooting darts.

Keith was an incredibly hard worker and supported his family in any way he could; his family was everything to him. He was very proud to see his son Connor graduate from high school and his daughter buy her first home. His kids were almost all he ever spoke of, and he was immensely proud of them. Keith was in a great place, happy, hopeful and had many plans for the future. Keith's death was unexpected and he will be dearly missed by many.
