Guestbook

Keith and I were Navy buddies. He was a true friend and even my best man at my wedding in 1982 in Kentucky. He took leave and traveled to my home town . He was friends with my Australian wife. We were both in the Navy then and stationed together in VA-146 and went on west pacific deployments. Last I heard from him was a phone call around 2005, I guess. Keith had a brilliant humor and often I remember our shenanigans and cohorts we ran with - so much we used to do. He is home now and I'm sure he is out smarting some of the best minds of the universe in his celestial plain. REST IN PEASE SHIPMATE. You are my brother from another mother.

My condolences to your family and all of your siblings. As teenagers we spent a lot of time just screwing off. You, Kurt,Jeff Pat,Poley,Myself and alot of the guys from Springs park...Those were days with no worries. Summers were the best when your older brothers and their friends would hang out and party. I could go on and on about those days but that would take a long time. Well you are with God now and things couldn't get much better that way. Take care old friend I'll remember you always, Jim Schmitz (Jocko) 🙏

Oh how sad it is to see this obit for Keith Kurber ;( he was a terrific friend and listener. Although we never got to meet in person our online chats and text messages were always silly and fun. I love how much he loved his kiddos and fur babies. I know I will finally get to meet him in person on the the side. My condolences & and prayers to the Kurber family.

Love & miss you Keith
