Kenneth Chrzastek
Kenneth graduated from the Art Institute of Chicago in 1975. He went on to work in many creative occupations throughout his life. He was especially proud of being partner and head floral designer at City Garden in Chicago. He was designer of floral arrangements for many celebrities including Oprah Winfrey. Other notable career positions include Adesso, Ltd., Tiffany & Co., Mecox Gardens, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Germania Seed Company.
Kenneth's biggest passion was the Lyric Opera of Chicago. He attended every season and opening night was always a special event. He had many dear friends and family who joined him throughout each season for over 40 years. Most notably was his mother Evvy who was always by his side at every performance. Kenneth cherished the Lyric Opera so much that he was a volunteer fundraiser since 1980.
Kenneth was a wonderful and dynamic person who was loved by all who knew him. There are no words that can express how deeply he will be missed. It is in Kenneth's wishes that any Memorial tributes be made in the form of charitable donations sent to Lyric Opera of Chicago 20 N Upper Wacker Dr, 60606

With a heavy heart , tears to fill an ocean, I am missing my much loved, dearest cousin. He had a full life and enjoyed family who loved him and wonderful friends. Missing him beyond words.

Shattered beyond words. There is a terrible rend in the fabric of my world. But so lucky to have had Ken in my life for many love & laugh-filled years. His bright mind made him a trusted friend always. I wish solace & comfort to all of Ken’s family & many friends.
