Kenneth Giese

Kenneth Giese, 49 from Forest Park, IL formerly of Melrose Park, IL entered into eternal life after a brief illness on January 10, 2022 surrounded by his loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

Beloved son of Wayne ( Tim Kehoe) and Dr. Alice Giese. Loving brother of Kara ( Jeff) Martin. He was a grandson, Nephew and had many cousin’s
Ken was an eternal optimist Chicago Cubs and Bears fan. One of his greatest joys was attending the World Series celebration at Wrigley Field in 2016. Ken loved all animals. His bond with his boxer Shelly was unbreakable and she was surely waiting for him at the Rainbow Bridge. He left behind his 2 loveable cats, Stripes and Sammy. They are now being cared for by their Granddad. Ken was multi-talented which he used to help out anyone that needed it. Family was the most important to him. He was always there for them and had a loving bond with all his family members. The bond he had with his cousins, was wonderfully juvenile. Ken loved to play practical jokes on his family any chance he got, usually his sister was the brunt of the practical jokes. His sense of humor was delightful with childish whimsy and could add a smile to everyone’s face. He had an amazing green thumb as he could bring back any plant to life and make it grow. He loved having his deck garden that he could make his famous salsa from. You could depend on Ken for a listening ear and realistic advice. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

A memorial and mass with take place at St. Bernardine Catholic Church in Forest Park.
The memorial will be held at 10:00am on February 19th 2022 at St. Bernardine Catholic Church: 801 South Elgin Ave Forest Park, IL 60130 followed by Funeral Mass at 11:00am by Father Stan. Flowers can only be accepted at the church between 10am-11am on 2/19.
