Kenneth Anthony Paasch

Kenneth Anthony Paasch, age 85, of Countryside, Illinois, passed away August 4, 2022.  He was born June 17, 1937, in Kenosha County, Wisconsin, to Arnold and Clare Paasch.  In his early childhood the family moved to Blue Island on the south side of Chicago.  Ken served two years of active duty in the U.S. Army, during which he was assigned to an engineer company stationed in Panama.  In civilian life Ken had a career as a mechanical draftsman and in his last years worked for a security company.  Outside work he was a member of the Knights of Columbus.  Ken was predeceased by his loving wife of many years, Rita Marie Paasch, brother Normand A. Paasch and sister Kathleen Paasch Hunter.  Survivors include a number of nieces and nephews.  He also leaves behind his much loved cat “Teddy Bear.”  Cremains will be interred alongside his wife’s at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois.

Service for Kenneth Anthony Paasch will be held on September 12th at 12:30 PM @ Abraham Lincoln national cemetery.

Ken was an amazing friend to have. Always brought a smile to everyone's face. He was kind, generous, and never put himself before others. He had a special witt and sarcastic humor- he was a really great friend to me. I will miss him dearly, as will many others that were blessed to have him in their lives.
