Kenneth F. Velesovsky succumbed after a brief bout with Covid 19 on February 23, 2022 at the age of 63. Born on August 20, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois to George and Bernice (Bartoszek) Velesovsky, Kenny was the youngest of four children.
He grew up on the south side of Chicago in the Pilsen neighborhood where he was fondly referred to as, “Pollock” by his close friends. In May 1994, Kenny earned an associate degree from MacMurray College in general studies where he maintained a 3.6 grade point average. In May 2008, he went back to school and received a Class A CDL with Double & Triple Endorsements from Star Truck Driving School. He was a masterful chess player and a gifted artist who loved to draw portraits of family and friends.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, George and Bernice (Bartoszek) Velesovsky, brother and sister-in-law, Ronald & Patricia (Sheedy) Velesovsky, nephew, Bobby Veles, niece, Deanna (Veles) Roadhouse, grandnephews, Eddie and Joey Veles.
He is survived by his brother, Bob Veles, sister, Shirley (Frank) Matusek, daughter, Andrea Delgado, son, Kenneth Tomsovic, daughter-in-law, Katie Neidetcher, grandchildren, Anisett and Alex Delgado, Jacob and Christopher Rodriguez and great- granddaughter, Zaleya and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A Memorial Service in Ken's honor will be held on Saturday, March 12th, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at:
