Kevin Rath

Kevin Rath, 68, of Sleepy Hollow, IL, passed away on September 5th 2025. Beloved husband of Janet (Orton). Loving dad of Curtis (Kristin), Kyle (Rebekah) and step-son Matthew Orton. Proud grandpa of Riley and Camden Rath. Dear brother of Peg Roth (Mark). Fond uncle and cousin to many. Devoted dog dad to Lucy and Ethel.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Winifred (Mullee) Rath.

Kevin spent most of his career as a "champion to children" having worked tirelessly as a hospital administrator for Lurie Childrens, LaRabida and St. Alexius Women and Children's Hospitals. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for any donations to kindly go to either Covenant House of Chicago, a homeless youth shelter, or the Multiple Systems Atrophy Foundation.
