Kurt John Horvath, age 64, of Schaumburg and formerly of Lake Villa, after a long illness had passed away peacefully on Saturday. October 31, 2020. Loving father of Steven (Sarah) Spencer, Heather Pate, Felicia Castiglione, Brandon Conway, John (Devon) Castiglione and Cassandra (Jon Mapes) Horvath. Cherished grandfather of Alana, Emmalyn, Ivy and Kenton; Rodney, Bailey, Zane, Taylor, and P'Adric; Ciera and Shawn; Angelina, Alexander, and Arabella; and Delilah. Dear brother of Kim (Mike Poulda) Kasperek ; brother-in-law to Herbert Kufke. Fond uncle to Tracie, Kerrie, Stacey, and Kory; Herbert J. and Kelly. Longtime partner to Roschelle Castiglione. Kurt is preceded in death by his sister Karen Kufke. Longtime auto mechanic at Suburban Auto Center in Wheeling, Illinois. Kurt was a dependable, generous, loving and silly man.
