Laura Baker was a very religious and spiritual woman. She enjoyed singing, reading her Bible and journaling, cooking especially on the holidays, volunteering in the community, and bringing people together.

She was known to put holy oil on the foreheads of loved ones. She was known to creatively get others to reconcile their differences. She was known to give her last whenever someone was in pain. She was also known to build and create things around the house for multiple purposes. Whatever was broken, she always fixed it. Dancing brought her joy! She always wrote letters to uplift family and friends. She always painted pictures of cartoon characters and made sure to always provide biblical scripture with the cartoons in an effort to express her love to family and friends and illustrate God's work!
