Laurie Ann Kahle

Laurie Ann Kahle, 53 of Mt. Prospect IL passed quietly surrounded by family December 31, 2021.

Laurie was born and raised in a large family that was one of the originals of Hoffman Estates, IL where she attended school and several activities. Laurie is survived by her siblings Bill Kahle, Bob (Tina) Kahle, Rick (Amy) Kahle, Kathy (John) Danowski and Ken (Chris) Kahle, one niece, several nephews, several great-nephews, and special friend Dane Valentine. Laurie was preceded in death by her mother Jean Kahle and father Donald.

Laurie accompanied her mother on her bucket-list vacation to Copper Mountain before she passed in 1993.

Laurie was self employed running her own house cleaning service, and eventually worked at Nursing homes. She had a passion for taking care of others. Laurie found enjoyment in boxing, listening and dancing to music, reading and writing poems, and walking her dog Stella.

Laurie, our loving sister, was the baby of the family and was gifted with a beautiful smile, a fearless sense of humor, and an infectious laugh that would light up a room. She also had a knack of twisting that room into a tornado with no fair warning.

Service will be private.
