Laurie Ann Kahle
Laurie Ann Kahle, 53 of Mt. Prospect IL passed quietly surrounded by family December 31, 2021.
Laurie was born and raised in a large family that was one of the originals of Hoffman Estates, IL where she attended school and several activities. Laurie is survived by her siblings Bill Kahle, Bob (Tina) Kahle, Rick (Amy) Kahle, Kathy (John) Danowski and Ken (Chris) Kahle, one niece, several nephews, several great-nephews, and special friend Dane Valentine. Laurie was preceded in death by her mother Jean Kahle and father Donald.
Laurie accompanied her mother on her bucket-list vacation to Copper Mountain before she passed in 1993.
Laurie was self employed running her own house cleaning service, and eventually worked at Nursing homes. She had a passion for taking care of others. Laurie found enjoyment in boxing, listening and dancing to music, reading and writing poems, and walking her dog Stella.
Laurie, our loving sister, was the baby of the family and was gifted with a beautiful smile, a fearless sense of humor, and an infectious laugh that would light up a room. She also had a knack of twisting that room into a tornado with no fair warning.
Service will be private.
Thank you to Journey Care and many others for taking care of our sister.
Flowers? Yes, buy the flowers and give them to someone you love.
Live. Laugh. Love.

Angel… you were more of a sister than my sisters could Ever be….your Love was beautiful.
You are in my heart for ever.
I look forward to the day we can live in God's new world.

Laurie was sensitive and compassionate with other people's pain early on...
She was the only one in the classroom to cry while watching Dumbo, compelling the teacher to hold her in her arms next to me... she was 6 years old.

My utmost respect for the connection you had with your mother and your daily consideration of her since we were kids. You took very good care of her.
It was a profoundly different world for you when you lost her.
May that pain be dissolved 🕊

Laurie would look straight through your eyes and into your soul to grab you in an embrace...all her protective shields dropped ...just pure love from Laurie.
Anyone in pain could be grateful for a hug like her's.
