Laverne Crain

Laverne Crain, age 56, of Peoria, Illinois went safely into the arms of our Lord and Savior on March 23, 2021. She was born in Memphis Tennessee on June 23, 1964 and moved to Peoria in 1970; along with her mom and two siblings. She is survived by her loving father Robert Palmer; beloved brother Marshall Palmer Sr (the late Paris), dear to her heart. Maternal Aunts, Louise Davis, whom she held a special place for in her heart, and Ladon Barnett; longtime special friend Louise whom she known since high school and Brenda Douglas who was also like a sister to her and a host of nephews, two nieces, and Mary Jannie Webster who was one of her favorite cousin, and a host of other family and friends, whom she all loved. Laverne was preceded in death by her mother Willie Mae Palmer and her sister Marcella Palmer, her maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents, 4 maternal uncles and one maternal aunt. They all held a special place in Laverne's heart. Laverne will be missed by all who knew her.
