LaVerne Renee Porter

LaVerne Renee Porter, 66, of Evanston, Illinois, peacefully passed away at her home April 1, 2023. LaVerne was a longtime LPN who provided exceptional care for many patients throughout her career. She was also a devoted member of Wine Psi Phi fraternity. Former spouse and dear friend of Fredrick Porter Sr. Loving mother of Fredrick Porter Jr., Carrie Porter and Evan Porter. Beloved grandmother of Colin Hammond, Micah Porter, Caleb Carter, Aaliyah Porter, Malayah Porter, Malia Porter and Malik Porter. Cherished sister of Denise Lewil, Gaymarie Smoot and Wendell Smoot.
