Leah Metz, 72, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away February 10, 2019. Born December 14, 1946 to the late Charles and Lucile Malachek. Beloved wife of Thomas for 53 years. Loving mother of Nicholette (John) Petlak and Heather Metz. Cherished grandmother of 4; Aimee, Kylie, Hayley, and Skylar. Kindest sister to Fern, Chuck, and Eve. Loving sister-in-law to Connie. Proud doggy mama of Lily. Fond aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Leah's family wishes to express their deepest and heartfelt gratitude to the "team" of friends and family whose support made it possible for her to remain strong through her life’s journey.
