Lee Helen Collins

Lee Helen Collins, 77, of Glenview, Illinois, formerly of Chicago's Englewood neighborhood, made her transition to be with the Lord on July 28, 2026. She was born on May 29, 1949, to the late Utress Collins and Seretha Frost.

Lee was the mother of Erica Collins. She is also survived by her loving siblings, Rayfus George and Eva Davis, as well as a host of cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will treasure her memory.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Utress Collins and Seretha Frost; her sister, Mary Earl Collins Blakley; her brothers, Bobby Ray Collins and Utress Collins; her sister Seretha Collins; her sister-in-law, Mary Mayfield; and her brother-in-law, Sebon Davis.

Lee enjoyed a successful career as a paralegal. She was a faithful member of St. John the Baptist Church and found great joy in engaging in political discussions, shopping, and spending time with those she loved.
