Leonor S Delgado

Leonor S. Delgado, born on October 29, 1939, bid farewell to this world on October 18, 2023. It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of an extraordinary woman whose life touched so many. Leonor's departure leaves behind a void that can never be filled, but her memory and legacy will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

Leonor lived a life of deep faith, dedicated to love, kindness, compassion. Her gentle nature and bright smile brought joy to all who crossed her path. With her unwavered belief in the power of prayer, Leonor leaned on God for comfort and light to lead us through difficult times.

She was a beloved wife to Guillermo Delgado, and caring daughter to Arminda Villarreal Santos. She was preceded in death by her two sisters, and brother, and is survived by sisters Arminda and Myrna.  Leonor was a beloved mother to Guillermo Delgado, Eleazar (MariCarmen) Delgado, and Sylvia (Alexy) Delgado Lanza. She was a devoted grandmother to Valerie, Guillermo (Katie), Violeta, Colette, Simon, Mariano, and Leonardo, and great grandmother to Miranda, Nathanial, and Riley Delgado. She was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews, and dear friend to many. The bonds she forged with her family and friends were unbreakable; they were built upon a foundation of unconditional love and support, and her nurturing presence gave strength to her loved ones during their triumphs and trials.

As a mother, she was the guiding light for her children. Leonor's wisdom and sage advice helped shape their characters and instilled in them the values of perseverance, integrity, and generosity. Throughout her life, Leonor found great joy in simple pleasures like tending to her garden or making delicious tortillas and tamales for family gatherings. 

Leonor leaves behind a legacy that serves as a gentle reminder to us all. A reminder to cherish the moments we have with our loved ones, to act in faith of our Lord, Jesus Christ, and above all, to live life with kindness and compassion.

As we mourn the loss of Leonor S. Delgado, let us also celebrate the incredible life she led. Let us remember her infectious laughter, her kindheartedness, and her unwavering love for those around her. Though she may no longer be physically present, her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Rest in peace, querida Leonor. Your memory will forever be cherished, and your light will continue to shine through each person whose life you touched.
