Lillian Marchand

Lillian “Lilly” Marchand went to Heaven to be with her mother Lillian and sister Dolly on Tuesday January 10, 2023.

Our mother (who was born in Homestead, PA) was the type of mother so many wished they had.  Mom was a loving, caring, hard working women.  It was not easy raising 3 children and working 3 jobs to support us on her own.  She is survived by her 3 children, Ron Marchand, Renee Butler, and Michelle Marchand.

Besides being the world to her daughter Michelle, she was a woman of many talents and unbelievable strength.

Mom could dance the night away and probably win every dance contest out there.  Elvis was her guy, put his music on and watch out. 

She was one of the hardest working people I know. She was self-taught on how to fix a car, build anything and everything with wood, lattice, etc.

For years she would work out here by her children and drive an hour plus to her home in South Beloit to work on her house. It didn’t matter what she had to do to get it done, she would get it done. 

Mom, you are so loved and so GREATLY missed.  Not a day will EVER go by that you are not in our thoughts and our hearts.  You are pain free now, enjoy your time with your mom, sister, and best friend Connie.
