Lily Urso

Lily Urso passed away March 3, 2025. Lily, born in Chicago to Helen and Joseph Scaletta on June 5, 1935, continued to be a Chicagoan at heart her whole life. 

Lil, loving wife of Louie Urso, was blessed with over sixty years of marriage, daughter Jodie and two granddaughters, Cass and Bree. Lily, a sweet and kind lady, worked many years at Little Sisters of the Poor in Palatine taking care of the elderly. In her spare time Lil would usually be found drawing portraits as she was quite the artist. Lily had a great love for animals and had many pets over the years. Lily rarely had a bad word to say about anyone or anything.She will be missed by many.

Lily is survived by her loving husband Louie, granddaughters Cass and Bree, sister Rose Jelonek and brother Joe Scaletta.
