Manuel Johnson

Manuel Johnson, 79, of Chicago passed away on Thursday February 29, 2024. Manuel was born in Ponchatoula  La. and moved to Chicago after high school. Most recently he called the Evergreen Park neighborhood home. He was the beloved father of Darlene Johnson, Dwayne Johnson, Dionne Myers and Kenyon Winston. He enjoyed having many grandchildren as well. He is also the beloved brother of Raymond Johnson and his Special Niece,  Edna Evans. He was preceded in death By his Mother, Edna Johnson (Newell), his Father, Jesse Johnson, Sisters, Mildred, Gloria, and Patricia. Manuel was retired from the Chicago Transit Authority. He loved watching the Bears and the Bulls, and listening to Frankie Beverly. He will be missed by many.
