Marc Waymen Turner

March 9, 1944 — January 3, 2021

Marc Waymen Turner. March 9th, 1944, James H. Turner and Gwendolyn gave birth to a healthy loving son. Marc grew up in Chicago and educated in the best of elementary schools. High school Chicago Vocational, there as a above average student, Marc was a football teammate with the renown Dick Butkus. Upon completion of high school, Marc continued his ministry as a Jehovah witness. in 1965 Marc met and married Elizabeth Schaeffer. Five children was added to that union. Emmanuel L. Turner, Lavera I Turner, Timothy d. Turner, Vanuel C. Turner, Juanita A. Turner. Marc applied for a position with the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) with favorable background Marc was hired immediately. He drove bus until retirement. After retiring, Marc keep busy doing whatever to stay active and healthy. One of the saddest day in Marc's life was his first born son Emmanuel had expired at the tender age of 16 while taking gym class at Proviso East High School in Maywood Illinois. Marc later years meet and married Evelyn Watson, blended family was a daughter name Tracey. Marc and his new family move to a new home in South Holland, Illinois. Marc had many hurts in his life time but stayed strong. The death of three children and wife. Many years ago while MS; Lulabell was explaining acts 2;38 in the bible not long after Marc heard the word he was baptized in the name of the lord Jesus Christ. for the remission of sin. Officiating bishop Reese Prince Jr. assisting elder Odears Wright. In the past couple of years, Marcs health began to fail gradually. January 3, 2021 after making it over the new year, he expired. Lasting memories- Fiance Bertha Ollie Children- Timothy D. Turner. Norman Crittenden Blended children Norman Crittenden Cora Walker Brothers Micheal Turner Sidney J. Turner James H. Turner Proceded in death. Emmanuel Turner (son) Lavera Scott (daughter) Tracey Watson (daughter) Evelyn Turner (wife) Joyous memories, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. Special thanks to my son in law Breck Scott (smiley) Then he said to them all, if anyone desires to come after me. Let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. Mark 8;34 So long my friend, we will meet again in the rapture. I AM FREE praise the lord no longer bound, or chains holding me. My soul resting, its a blessing. Praise LORD I AM FREE.
