Margaret Jean Murdock

Margaret Jean Murdock, born on December 3, 1931, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2025. A dedicated teacher, Margaret continued to inspire others long after her retirement through her work at Hallmark and her volunteer efforts at Alexian Brothers Hospital.

Margaret was passionate about wood working, gardening, and crafting, enjoying these hobbies that highlighted her creativity and love for hands-on activities. Her spirit and talent will be remembered by many.

She is survived by her children, Charles (Andrea), John (Sandy), and Barbara (Robert); three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Margaret also leaves behind her sibling Richard (the late Shirley). She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles, with whom she shared 35 wonderful years, her daughter Kathryn, and her sibling Doris (Donald).

Margaret Jean Murdock will be deeply missed by her family and friends, remembered for her unwavering kindness and dedication to her passions. Services private.
