Maria Del Carmen Aguilar

Maria Del Carmen Aguilar, age 91, of Chicago's Uptown neighborhood and formerly of Guatemala City, Guatemala, peacefully passed away at her home August 12, 2023. She is survived by her loving children Jorge Tobar, Elizabeth Iehl (Bruce Iehl) and Sandra (Rudy Portillo) Tobar; cherished grandchildren Marcelina Tobar, Jose Miguel Portillo, Andrea Portillo, Rudy Alejandro Portillo, Eufemia (John Contreras) Tobar and Kimberly (Gilo Ahumada) Tobar; great-grandchildren, Anthony, Liliana, Gabriela, Giselle, Aldo, and Anahi; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Maria was preceded in death by brothers Roberto Arevalo and Francisco Arevalo.
