Maria Gabiga

Maria Gabiga, 61, passed away on May 22nd 2023. Hailing from the historic city of Tarnów, Poland, Maria made her home in the Jefferson Park neighborhood of Chicago. She was beloved by her son, Michael Gabiga, and husband, Waldemar Gabiga. Her cherished siblings Bogdan Lata and Kristina (Jerry) Tyralski were also a great source of joy. Filling her life with friendship, she was adored by many, especially her endeared friend, Jim Wilcox. Maria's dedication to detail and care gave her strong foundation to become a successful housekeeper across Chicago. She, and the extra shine she brought into the lives of those who loved her, will be missed and forever celebrated.

Memorial Service honoring Maria will take place on Saturday, June 3, at 10 AM. St Constance Church, 5843 W. Strong, Chicago, Illinois 60630
