Maria Muñiz

Maria Muniz of Aguada, Puerto Rico, passed away on March 13, 2025 in Chicago, IL surrounded by her children and family members.

Maria was born in Aguada, Puerto Rico. The daughter of Maria Chaparro and Virgilio Muniz. Maria was a beautiful, loving, and caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved to cook, gardening, and making her house a home for her family.

Maria is survived by her loving children: Eusebio Juni Camacho, grandchildren Ashley, (Alex), Joshua, Julisa, (Stephinie) great grandchildren, Aiziah, Isaac, Alijah, Jaxon and Joshie. Hector Hernandez, (Tata), grandchildren Hector, Nathan, Angelica, and Jiovanni, great grandchildren, Melanie, Nevaeh, Joel, Jace. Ramonita Muniz, Midalia Muniz, grandchild Jacob. Rosie Sanchez. (Rachel) grandchildren. Adriana, Jayla Grandchild: Luis, great grandchildren, Ariana, Aracela, Armani, Aramis. Grandchildren: Carlos, (Jasmine), Angel (Jazmin). Felicia, Angelina, Jasmine (Manolo), Minerva. great grandchildren: Mathias, Alexander, Leonidas, Alfredo, Alex, Alexis , Athenah, Ulisa, Joel, Ethan, Julian, Aden, Alexis, Eylani, Angelo, Elyannah, and Markus.

Dearest sister of Martina and Teresa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Maria and Virgilio, brothers and sister, Mino, Carmelo, Junior, and Carmen. Sons, Alfredo, and Angel. Grandchild, Mario.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Redeemer of Calvary United Methodist Church, 5001 W. Gunnison St. Chicago IL, 60630 on March 22, 2025 Memorial Gathering from 10am - 12pm with a Memorial Service from 12pm - 1pm
