Maria Eugenia Rostad, 72, of McHenry passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Sat., March 18, 2023.

Dear daughter of the late Cristina and Juan Antonio Martinez Sarmiento. Loving mother of Leslie Eltherington, Brian (Kayla) Eltherington, Steven Rostad and the late Jessica Eltherington. Cherished grandmother of Alec Eltherington, Brielle DuPaw, Jasmine DuPaw, Luke Eltherington, Owen Eltherington and Tripp Rostad. Dear sister of nine sisters and two brothers. Fond aunt and friend to many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
