Maria Seijas, 84, of Niles, Illinois, and formerly of Chicago and Guatemala City, Guatemala, peacefully passed away December 8, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Roberto Chajon (1982). Loving mother of Selvin Cruz, Sandra Chajon and Edgar (Juanita) Chajon. Treasured grandmother of Jennifer De Leon, Roxanne De Leon, Alexandra De Leon, Zurielis Chajon and Edgar R. Chajon; great-grandmother of Ayla, Jemiel and Joaquin Aslan Venegas. Maria adored her close-knit family and dedicated to her years helping to raise all of her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.
