Marilyn Jean Eshoo

Marilyn Jean Eshoo, born on September 21st, 1936 in La Grange, has passed away at the age of 86 on May 15th, 2023 in Countryside. 

Loving mother of Leanne Palmer, Eileen Robinson, and Allen (Regina) Eshoo. Beloved grandmother of Craig Robinson, Mark Robinson, Zakari (Sarah Poole) Eshoo. Cherished great-grandmother of Alaina Eshoo and Uriah Eshoo. Marilyn was preceded in death by her former spouse, Robert Allen Eshoo, and her twin siblings Diane Hungerford and Dennis Getz.

Marilyn was a woman of many passions and interests. Her love for her beloved 3-legged cat, Foxy, was unmatched. 

Throughout her life, Marilyn's passion for theatre provided her the opportunity to be involved in many community theatre productions where she showcased her incredible talent. She also had a deep love for line dancing and took immense pride in being an instructor to so many devoted learners.

Marilyn's beautiful voice will always echo through our memories as she was known for her avid karaoke performances. Her sweet voice and love for music will continue to resonate with those who were lucky enough to witness it.

Marilyn had a great love of adventure and would often vacation at Minocqua in Northern Wisconsin at the cottage on Mercer Lake. She also spent many vacations at Lake of the Woods in Indiana where she created unforgettable memories with her friends and loved ones.
