Marilyn C. Johansen, 78, of Mount Prospect, Illinois and formerly of Chicago's Belmont Craigen neighborhood, after a long illness had passed away June 26th 2023. Beloved wife of Arnold Johansen for 49 years. Loving sister of Thomas (Dorothy) Switall. Fond aunt of Jeff (Rachel) Switall, Linda (John) Miller, Wendy Unrath and Tammy (Daniel) Kaspari. Treasured great-aunt of Ethan, Samantha, Christina, Michael, Emily and Zachary. Dear friend to many.

Visitation will be held Saturday August 12, 2023 at St. John Lutheran Church, 1100 S. Linneman Road, Mt. Prospect, IL starting at 10:30 AM until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, information will be given about Marilyn's favorite charity WINGS. This will be provided after the memorial service.
