Mark B Anderson, born January 29, 1966, in Indianapolis, IN, passed away on June 24, 2026, leaving behind a legacy characterized by dedication, warmth, and a gentle sense of humor. He will be remembered for his commitment to his work, his many interests, and his unwavering devotion to his family.
Mark was a long-time employee with both Nokia and Motorola, where he forged meaningful professional relationships and made lasting contributions. His colleagues recognized him not only for his technical expertise but also for his reliability and the respect he showed to everyone around him.
He had a passion for ham and amateur radio, and proudly held membership in the ARRL (National Association of Amateur Radio), engaging in a community that shared his enthusiasm for communication and technology. Whether he was tinkering with radios, riding his tractor, or enjoying time outdoors, Mark found joy in the simple pleasures of life. The peacefulness of nature, the camaraderie of fellow enthusiasts, and the challenge of fishing—though he often joked about "never catching anything"—all brought him great happiness.
Mark's greatest pride, however, was his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara Anderson, who was his steadfast partner in all things. Together they built a loving home filled with laughter and support. His sons, Brett(Nicole) Joseph and beloved dog Lola, carry forward the values of kindness and curiosity that Mark embodied. He is also survived by his brothers, Wendell, Mike, and Bob, and his sister, Jennifer. Mark’s father, Bobby, remains to honor his memory as well. Each of them remembers Mark not only as a family member, but as a friend whose presence enriched their lives in countless ways.
Mark's legacy endures through those who knew him—as a dedicated professional, a passionate hobbyist, and above all, a cherished husband, father, son, and sibling. His love of the outdoors, his wit, and his gentle demeanor will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
At this time, further service information is not provided. Mark B Anderson's life and memory will remain an inspiration to his family and friends, and his presence will be sorely missed.
