Mark C. Sanders, 85, of Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood, formerly Elmhurst, after a long illness is at rest February 1, 2024. Devoted husband of Maureen for 51 loving years. Adored father of Sean (Nadia), Catherine Sanders and Sharon (Dan) Hayes. Cherished grandpa of Mythias, Liam, Nia, Stella, Suhaileh and KJ. Dear brother of Mary (the late Bill), Aline (Ed) and Tony (Susan). Fond uncle and friend to many. Retired writer with Advertising Age (currently Crain Communications). Avid reader (especially mystery novels) and smooth jazz enthusiast. Longtime volunteer with March of Dimes and Elmhurst Hospital, Eucharist Minister and longtime parishioner at Immaculate Conception in Elmhurst and St Benedict’s in Chicago.

 A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, February 17th, 10am, at St Benedicts Parish (2215 W Irving)
