My Dad was funny and I will miss his sarcasm. I will miss hearing his voice, seeing his goofy grin, or asking me if I wanted to arm wrestle whenever he seen me. I will also miss my Dad asking me if my face hurt every time that he called me, in which I would reply, “ Only when I look at you.” Lol…
Here’s a funny story, that always made me laugh when I’d think about it. I use to have turtles when I was younger. I kept them in aquariums with water & floating rocks. One day my Dad was fishing in Kenosha from Lake Michigan, he called me, told me to come and meet him at the Harbor because he caught me a turtle to add to my aquarium. When I got there he said it was in his bucket. You could hear this turtle making a lot of noise. When I went to look in his bucket, I seen that he caught a huge snapping turtle. Lol
I told him that I could not keep that turtle or add him to my aquarium because he was too big, would bite me and eat my turtles. I had little red ear sliders, a baby river cooter and a map turtle. He was like what do you mean you can’t keep him. Lol
That was my Dad . Thank you to everyone that remembered & honored my Dad. My family appreciates it.
Dad we love & miss you. Don’t worry about my Sister, Dusty. We are taking great care of her.
