Mary Lou Smith, 71 of the Bridgeport area of Chicago passed away on Monday December 9, 2019. Mary Lou was the wife of the late Robert Smith. She was the beloved daughter of Angelo and Catherine Ravnic. She was the loving mother of Catherine LaPorta, James Smith and Kelly (Jamie) Fahey. Dearest grandmother and motherly figure to Adam, Joseph, and Phillip. Beloved grandmother to Brendan and Robert. Great grandmother of Amy, Quinn and Adrian and cherished sister of Margie (the late Leo) Trevino and Tom (the late Maria) Ravnic and preceded in death by two sisters, Janet and Kathy and three brothers, George, Jim and Michael. Fond aunt and wonderful friend to many. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, December 21st at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Bridgeport at 10:00am with a luncheon to follow at Gatto’s Restaurant, 8005 183rd St, Tinley Park, IL 60487 at 12:30pm Arrangements entrusted to Chicagoland Cremation Options of Schiller Park, Illinois.
