Mathias A. Jans Jr.

Matt Jans of Lake Zurich, IL passed away at home surrounded by family on December 21, 2022 at the age of 67. Matt was the loving partner of Irene Tague, the beloved son of Matthias and Sandra Jans, the dear brother of Keith and Rick Jans, and the fond uncle of Barbara (Jim) Newman and Becky (Jason) Anderson. Matt was a talented musician, award winning architect and lifelong supporter of animal rescue. A private gathering of family and friends will be held in January. The family welcomes donations to a cause close to Matt's heart, Young at Heart Senior Pet Adoptions (www.adoptaseniorpet.com), as an expression of sympathy.
