Maureen Francis (Fleishauer) Ruffner, 90, was born April 8 1931 to the late John and the late Eleanor Flieschauer. Passed away on February 22, 2022. Maureen was the beloved wife of the later Walter J. Ruffner, Jr. Loving mom of Walt (Connie) Ruffner, Michele Korhonen, Katherine (the late Rick) Samme, the late Timothy and Martin (Gloria) Ruffner. Loving grandmother to Scott (Joanna) Korhonen, Dawn (Greg) LaVeau, Patrick Ruffner, Matthew Samme, Kevin (Shillawna) Ruffner, Michele (Jonathan) Tolomeo, Laura Driver, Joshua (Megan) Ruffner, Kyle Ruffner, Peter Ruffner, and Kaitlyn Ruffner.  Great grandmother of 21. Dear sister to the late Robert and John Fleischauer. Beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews. Great friend to many. Public gathering will be held at Saint Alphonsus Liguori, 411 Wheeling Road, Prospect Heights, IL 60070 on March 5th at 10am followed by a Memorial Mass at 11am.
