Maurice Thomas, born on May 6, 1960, in Chicago, Illinois, passed away on August 15, 2025. He was known for his vibrant personality, often bringing smiles and laughter to those around him through his love of singing and his friendly demeanor.

Maurice faced the hardships of losing his parents, Morris and Maggie, at a young age and his dear sister Elonda. Fortunately, he was raised by his loving grandmother, Addie Nettle, who played a significant role in his life. Despite these early challenges, Maurice cultivated a warm and inviting spirit that touched the hearts of many.

He is survived by his siblings: Linda, Diane, and Darryl. They will carry his memory forward, cherishing the joy and laughter that he so generously shared during his lifetime.
