Megan E. Jensen

Megan E. Jensen, 38, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away unexpectedly at her home on September 5, 2023. 

 

She was the beloved daughter of Peter and Patricia Jensen and loving sister of Peter Jensen Jr. She cherished the relationship with her sister-n-law, Denisse Garavito Jensen and was undoubtedly the "favorite aunt " of her Godson, Evan Jensen. 

 

She was also known as the favorite cousin or niece to countless relatives and the maid of honor in several of her friend’s marriages. Several of her friends have been quoted as saying, "Megan was my best friend at one point of life."

 

Megan had recently completed medical school, and as a child she was known for her love of dance, film and being a feared softball pitcher. She loved nothing more than spending time with her cherished family and friends. In the words of many of her friends, "she had the world's biggest heart and would do anything for her loved ones," 

 

Her Celebration of Life will be at Saint Columba Catholic Church in Dothan, Alabama on Friday, September 22nd at 11:00 am. With a social gathering of friends and family to follow.
