Melvin Clarence Avante

Melvin Clarence Avante was born on October 20, 1966, in Chicago, Illinois. He lived a life marked by dedication and service until his passing on March 19, 2006. Melvin was a proud veteran of the Marine Corps, where he served his country with honor.

Throughout his life, Melvin was deeply committed to his community and family. He took pride in his roles as a pastor and a football coach, accomplishments that brought him great joy and fulfillment. His work in these areas impacted those around him in positive ways.

Melvin is survived by his loved ones: his son, Bijon Avante; his daughter, Neveah Avante; and his grandchild, Taniyah Avante. They carry forward his memory and the values he taught them.

Melvin Clarence Avante’s life is remembered for the service he gave, both to his country and to those he cared for. He will be missed by his family and all who knew him.
