Mercedes Acuna, 72, of Chicago, IL, passed away peacefully on October 14th 2026. Loving mother to Alejandro Carvajal. Beloved grandmother of Sophie Carvajal. Loving Sister and Aunt as well. Mercedes was an outstanding caretaker for her grandchild and others.
She was a lovely lady that loved salsa and to dance. She was the light of the party for sure.
