Michael J. Nessling

Michael J. Nessling, born on July 11, 1953, in Chicago, Illinois, passed away peacefully at home on November 2, 2025. He was a dedicated professional in the construction industry, contributing his skills and expertise for over 40 years. Known for his kindness and generosity, Michael often put others before himself, touching the lives of many people throughout his career and personal life.

Over the years, Michael developed a passion for camping, enjoying the beauty of nature and creating cherished memories with family. He is survived by his wife, Mary Nessling, with whom he shared 48 years of marriage. Michael’s legacy continues through his sons, Michael J. Nessling Jr. (Millie), (prior daughter-in-law, Gina) and Shaun M. Nessling (Kristin, deceased), and his beloved grandchildren, Jovanna and Gavin. He is also survived by his brother, Jim Nessling and family and extended family.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents, William and Elizabeth, and his brothers, William, Daniel, and Richard.

A celebration of Michael’s life will take place on November 22, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM in Hanover Park. Those wishing to attend are encouraged to contact a family member for more details.
