Michael Schnaitman

Michael Schnaitman, 65, born and raised in Chicago, passed away May 8, 2026. Loving father of Lauryn (Jerome). Adored cat dad of Radar. Preceded in death by his grandson Jerome Michael, his sister Cynthia and both of his parents, Lois and Raymond. Longtime employee of the Chicago Department of Transportation (1994-2019). Michael will be remembered his love of the Chicago Cubs, the way he cherished his family, and took pride in his car. Blue was his favorite color, fitting for someone remembered with such warmth and sincerity.
