Michael Slatton

Michael "the Iceman" Slatton, 70, Army Veteran, of Chicago's Engelwood neighborhood; Bensonville, IL; Grand Rapids, MI; Barstow, CA & Honolulu, HA, passed away after a long illness on October 6, 2022. Cherished son of Clorene Slatton. Beloved companion of Joan Bailes. Loving father to Roderic Michael (Chlon) & Crystal Slatton. Cherished grandad to Jordan Slatton & Matalynn Slatton. Adored brother of Patricia Slatton, Valerie (the late Wendell), Diandre Roddy, Eric Roddy, Darryl (Cynthia) Roddy. Loving friend to Brandon Bailes, Billy Bailes, Brian Bailes, Katy Bailes & Kadyn Bailes. 

Michael was a longtime accomplished singer who performed and sang with the legendary Drifters, The Nostalgics, Enchantments and the Rythem & Blues Brothers. 

Mr. Slatton was a prized uncle & friend to many who will be dearly missed.
