Michelle Carol Shafer nee Stangle, 60, of Lakeview neighborhood formerly of Windsor Locks, CT after a brief illness passed away December 30th. Beloved wife of Marvin for 31 years. Loving mother of Aaron and adored step mother of Nora Stewart, Edee Takantjas, Jonah Shafer and Shannon McNeely. Cherished "mimi" of six. Dear sister of Karl Stangle, Annie Halbert and Jeanette DuBois. Loving daughter of Cecil (Bisson) and John Stangle. Fond aunt and friend to many. Michelle had a major talent for coming up with color combinations and designs. She was a composer, singer and songwriter who was recognized and performed worldwide.
