Monta Jean Bell

Monta Jean Bell, a caring and kind soul, passed away on February 13, 2024, in her hometown of Chicago. She was born on November 1, 1942, in the same city, and her departure has left a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her warm personality brightened the lives of all who had the privilege of crossing paths with her. 

Monta leaves behind her daughter Marquita Young and grandchildren, Brittany Young, Tenise Bell-Pierce and great grandson Braylen Watson, held a special place in her heart. She cherished each moment spent with them and found immeasurable joy in witnessing their growth. 

Monta Jean Bell ( the late Willie Bell) was not only dedicated to her immediate family but also deeply connected to her extended family. She shared a strong bond with her sister Harriet Snyder and brother Maurice Leonard. They were not just siblings; they formed an unbreakable trio bound by love and support that will endure beyond Monta's physical existence.
