Nancy Mae Stankus

Nancy Mae Stankus, 74, of Elgin, formerly of Chicago and Worth, IL passed away peacefully on January 20, 2026. She was born on January 23, 1951.

Nancy was the beloved wife of the late John Stankus and the loving mother of Beverly (David) Peyton. She was a proud grandmother to Brianna Lieblang, Theresa Lieblang, Kendall White, Quinn White and Gunnar White. She is preceded by her parents Ernest and Pauline LaRue and her sister Laura LaRue. Nancy was a longtime employee of Roseland Community Hospital and enjoyed reading and decorating for the holidays. She will be remembered with love by her family.
