Nelson Smith, Nelson Smith, 70, of Chicago's South and West Side, transitioned peacefully January 10, 2022. Survived by his longtime loving companion Tarre "Rhee" Talbert; loving siblings Mae (the late Isaac) Howard, Iola (Allen) McKnight, Thomas Smith, Allen (Isabella) Smith and Marc E. (Florence) Smith and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Preceded in death by his sister Maggie (the late John) Gordon.
