Spirit of A Warrior

February 27, 1998~ September 26, 2022

In Loving Remembrance Son & Brother

“Manchild we will remember you in the smallest of things, in the sands in water, in the seabird’s wings. We will think of
you every day, when we see a sunset, when we sit down to pray. “We love you; we miss you; we wish you were here”.
Your spirit speaks to us saying I am always with you Mother and Sisters; I am so very near. As the waves on the tides
are a part of the sea. So, remember me in the smallest of things, in sands in water and seabird wings.” ~ Mother,

Mahalia, and Amina

If Sunflowers Grow in Heaven

“If sunflowers grow in Heaven God please pick a bunch for me. Place them in my Grandson’s arms and tell him they’re
from me. Tell him that I love and miss him and when he turns to smile, place a kiss upon his cheek and hold him for a
while. Because remembering him is easy, I do it every day. But there is an ache within my heart that will never go away.

Rest in Peace Obedyah ~Nanny

Spiritual Warrior

“We now have seen your last battle here on earth my brave warrior and now you are at peace. To win the war against fear
requires awareness, courage, discipline, and commitment to transform the emotional body. These are some of the
characteristics of a Warrior. You are now our Spiritual Warrior giving us strength and watching over us in our heart”.~PawPaw

My Little Man

There he was, hiding behind his mother, shy and scared. Trying to figure out who these people are. He was just two years
old, just barely reaching above his Mama’s knee. Came to visit his new cousin (Saebrinde). Took him a while…a long
while before he would let me hold him, however I won out and he let me hold him…no kisses though. The faces he would
make would probably have discouraged anyone else, but not me. I was determined to get my kiss. Eventually he stopped
fighting and allowed me to kiss him, but only on the forehead. The bond was made, he became my “little man-my little
scientist”. Loved the stars and robots. And when the family moved to Atlanta, he became an additional running buddy,Along with Saebrinde we would go to the movies, the mall, the arcade, and our favorite place Toys-R-Us where they
would run throughout the store. It became a monthly ritual. We were The Three Caballeros. Love you my little man.

Enjoy the moon and the stars and fly with the angels. ~Aunt GG

On Eagle Wings

“And The Creator will raise you up on eagle’s wings.Bear you on the breath of dawn. Make you to shine like the sun, and you will be held in the palm of The Most High.”

Ribbon of Love

“There is a ribbon of love wrapped around your heart. It is tied tightly to mine. I am not gone I will always live in you.
Remember let it lift you. Picture my smell often and hold sweet memories close. Let these words be a gift to you until we are together again.”
