“If sunflowers grow in Heaven God please pick a bunch for me. Place them in my Grandson’s arms and tell him they’re
from me. Tell him that I love and miss him and when he turns to smile, place a kiss upon his cheek and hold him for a
while. Because remembering him is easy, I do it every day. But there is an ache within my heart that will never go away.

My Little Man

There he was, hiding behind his mother, shy and scared. Trying to figure out who these people are. He was just two years
old, just barely reaching above his Mama’s knee. Came to visit his new cousin (Saebrinde). Took him a while…a long
while before he would let me hold him, however I won out and he let me hold him…no kisses though. The faces he would
make would probably have discouraged anyone else, but not me. I was determined to get my kiss. Eventually he stopped
fighting and allowed me to kiss him, but only on the forehead. The bond was made, he became my “little man-my little
scientist”. Loved the stars and robots. And when the family moved to Atlanta, he became an additional running buddy,Along with Saebrinde we would go to the movies, the mall, the arcade, and our favorite place Toys-R-Us where they
would run throughout the store. It became a monthly ritual. We were The Three Caballeros. Love you my little man.
