Owen David Cassidy

Owen David Cassidy, 87, of Forest Park, Illinois, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2025. He was born on May 19, 1938 in Peoria, Illinois to Susan and John Cassidy. In 1988, he married Rebecca “Becky” Moseley.

Owen was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Becky; his brothers Jack, Jim, and Tom; and his sisters Susie, Colleen, Marilyn, and Dianne. He is survived by his son, Andrew; his brother, Doug; and many cherished nieces and nephews.

Owen graduated from Lake Forest Academy and attended the University of Notre Dame. He went on to enjoy a successful career as a sales executive in the marketing and event marketing fields. A highly effective communicator, he worked with several major corporations across the country, including American Hospital Supply and Baxter International in Chicago.

An avid lover of the outdoors, Owen remained active in a variety of sports throughout his life. He was a devoted reader, engaged in civic affairs, and deeply treasured his Labrador retrievers, Chancey and Renley. Owen will be remembered for his sense of humor, wit, and love of family.

A Funeral Mass and celebration of Owen’s life will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026 in Lake Forest, Illinois.
