Paul's brother Phil has been a long-time friend, teammate, and player in the Chicago North Men's Senior Baseball League. Phil took Paulie to many of our CNMSBL games, and it was always a special treat to see him. I don't recall knowing a nicer person than Paulie, and we became good friends. Although he had cerebral palsy, Paulie didn't let that stop him. He was always "up," and a constant inspiration to me. When the CNMSBL JAXX won a "3-peat," I considered Paulie our MVP. Paulie was also a maven about Major League Baseball, and probably knew more about baseball than most of us. Those who had the good fortune to know Paulie were indeed fortunate. I hope Paulie is watching our games from above, and can play on his own Field of Dreams. Rich "Ty Cobb" Crane

Paul was a great friend and will be missed so much for the inspiration and love he gave so many. Here was a guy who didn't have all that others did, yet, he always greeted you with a hearty laugh and the biggest smile. He made people feel like they were the largest thing in his life. He was a huge inspiration with the ever present excitement in his voice, leaving everyone with the feeling they could accomplish anything as long as they tried. Not many people could fill Paul's shoes. Thank-you so much for the joy you brought into my life. May GOD bless Paul and keep him by HIS side.

I have always used the term, Heart Of A Lion, when describing a dedicated & hard working baseball player.
I will use it one more time, describing Paulie. If anyone ever HAD the Heart Of A Lion.....it was Paulie.
Thanks for your friendship and making my life better.
