Peter John Sumyk

Peter John Sumyk, 74, of Northbrook and formerly of Boston, Massachusetts, New York and Austria, passed away after a brief illness March 9, 2021. Beloved son of Lidya Cannavos. Cherished nephew, cousin and friend to many. Longtime dental technician. Peter loved animals. He fed birds during cold winters and took a wild cat inside his home. Peter had great intellect and was very insightful on many things. Moreover, he would write reviews on wines and was very talented in his dental work. As some would describe as “one of the kind. “ Peter’s friends were always looking forward to get into lively conversation with him and learn the insights of the knowledge on possibly any subject known.
