Peter Taylor

Peter M.Taylor passed away peacefully on August 18, 2026, at the age of 71. Born on August 10, 1955, in Chicago, Illinois, Peter was the beloved son of William and Mary Taylor, who predeceased him along with his dear brother Bill.

Peter's life was filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering dedication to his family and friends.He was a beloved father to his three daughters, Emily (Jason), Sara (Brett), and Heidi (John),who will forever cherish the memories of their father's warmth and humor. As a grandfather, Peter found immense joy in the presence of his grandchildren: Harper, Reilly, Otto, Charli, Liam, and Levi. In addition to his children and grandchildren, Peter is survived by his sister, Mary Lou and numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces who will miss him dearly.

An avid sports enthusiast, Peter's loyalty to the Chicago Cubs and the Dallas Cowboys was legendary among his friends and family. Peter also found solace and satisfaction in his tomato garden, and spent lots of time with his dogs enjoying the neighborhood. He enjoyed a solid slice of pizza, a fresh tamale and all the savory joys of hosting Thanksgiving with his family. 

Peter was known for his quick wit and the ability to bring a smile to anyone's face, a beloved friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His humor and kindness left an indelible mark on the lives of many, and his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

A celebration of life will be held to honor Peter, as per his wishes. Details will be announced accordingly.

Peter Taylor will be deeply missed, but his legacy of laughter, love, and loyalty will remain a guiding light for all who knew him.
